STOP SWEARING!! (A short rant)

You know what really gets me lately. I was just thinking about it last night. What is all this hub-bub about people that want to swear to tell the truth, the whole truth on a book other than the Bible, so help them someone or something other than God. I say, go ahead and let them. And while you're at it. Stop fighting for the right to swear on the Bible, it's a sin. We are told very directly that we are not to swear on anything on Earth or in Heaven. I am pretty sure that includes copies of Holy Scriptures, or BY GOD! for crying out loud! Just 'Let your yes be yes, and your no, no.'

Blessings from Heaven, via California...

So I got a new computer the other day. Yesterday actually. I really wanted a new computer for quite some time now, but I certainly cannot afford such an extravagant item. Well, one day, not too long ago, I was talking to one of my close friends, who happens to live in California. (Try to guess, I have at least two!) Well, this friend of mine was like "Well, I have an extra lap top I don't use, do you want it?" I was like, "Dude, if you have an extra one, how much do you want for it?" "Oh, you can just have it?" "No way! That's too much!" "Dude!," and this is where the true blessings come in, "your friendship is worth way more than that to me. I'd give you a thousand laptops if I could" "Well, alright, if you want, I sure would appreciate it, how much do I need to send you for shipping?" "Oh, don't worry about that either."
